Inspiration vs Motivation?
This year for Christmas my significant other and I decided that we would craft each other 3 gifts, instead of going out and paying extortionate prices for things. We did buy each other something earlier this month, as we always do, but I think that will be the extent of store bought gifts this year. We are also taking part in a secret Santa exchange, and it's been quite an exciting experience so far.
The problem with this concept of a crafty Christmas, is that I have no motivation, no inspiration. I have the three things I want to make, I know how I want to present them, I know how I'll make them, but when I get up in the morning, I say to myself "tomorrow.". My last "tomorrow" was last week. Christmas is around the corner, and I know I have to get a move on. I know she'll love them, I know I'll enjoy making them, I just need to kick my own behind.
I need to get out of this funk.

It's a good idea. My boyfriend and I did the same with each other's birthdays and I actually appreciated it a lot more thAn I would have a store-bought gift. As for the inspiration, motivation and procrastination... its something everyone goes through. Your last post gave the impression that you were in a bit of a slump. This may be the cause of you not feeling so creative.
